Past Lives and Passions, Fears and Creativity

There are publications of accounts of people—children and adults alike—who recalled their past lives and found that their present lives are affected by their past lives. These include personal interests, fears, and some level of creativity. There are even accounts of physiological conditions and disorder carried over from the manner of death in the past life.
Reincarnation, the belief that, following death, a soul is reborn in a new life, is an essential concept in Indian religious traditions although accounts of reincarnation appear in other religions and mythologies too. Philosophers have researched on reincarnation and continue to do so. Reincarnation is a concept incorporated in many literary works and feature films today.
Reincarnation is widely recognized and moderately believed in the world at present. Some joys and fears are often attributed to experiences in a past life, like a boy might grow up to join the navy because he believes he was a sailor in his previous life. Some people ascribe a present line of creativity to a career in the past life, like a musician who claims he had a lot of practice for lifetimes prior.
It is also amusing to suppose that passions are borne of similar experiences from a past life. A child who can identify the parts of a Jeep Sherwood Park without being taught about automobiles may have been a mechanic in the past. The same may be considered regarding fears: fear of heights may indicate death from a great fall.
There exists some skepticism regarding this concept, but it is interesting that even some people believe in reincarnation despite practicing religions that generally reject the concept.
